The 4 Wheel Drive trip to Go Bush was exciting and an experience of journeying adventure.
We went in during the winter season and got to experience crashing through native bush and splashing through muddy water holes.
On arrival at the Lodge we were greeted with the Native and Rare Whio Ducks. The day was quite warm and after a tasty and very filling meal
I felt like dipping my feet in the river and enjoying the cool mountain water trickle through my toes.
The perfume and fresh fragrances of bush aroma was very invigorating and refreshing. Many thanks to our hosts who also gave the personal touches.

The welcome we received from the Mana Ariki whanau (family) was so honestly friendly and welcoming, it was hard to leave them when our time with them finished.
Their history and their dreams for their rangitahi (youth) were heart felt and a moving experience.
