About Us at King Country Tours
We are based in Taumarunui, the Heart of the King Country in Central North Island New Zealand and have
operated the local taxi service Ruapehu Taxis since 2006.
We have extended the operation over the last few years and added
additional vehicles and established a regime of quality improvement.
We officially blessed and launched King Country Tours on the 1st October 2009.

Your hosts are Georgina and Wayne.
Georgina has transported and cared for people in the region for over 21 years. Born and bred to the King Country, Georgina is very passionate about the area and always keen to show it to others.
Georgina's special interests: Looking after people and giving them a good time.
Wayne has worked in the transport area for many years. He moved to Taumarunui from the city and is still interested in learning about our area and about our local community also.
Wayne's special interests: Motorbikes, V8 supercars and rallies, steam trains, gardening and reading. Watch out for his mischevious antics.
